La Liga competitions start with virtual reality technology
Spanish La Liga will start with a new atmosphere on Thursday, June 12, after several months of closure. While the competitions are held without spectators, video and image companies are returning the excitement to football.
The use of virtual computer fans has been added graphically and offers high-resolution images of sitting fans wearing home club clothes. La Liga has partnered with Norwegian company VIZRT in this area. Other La Liga initiatives include the use of virtual sound in a project called Sounds of Stands with FIFA video game company EA SPORTS. Stadiums have been processed. This sound is used for special key moments such as serious scoring opportunities or scoring goals, and presents football to fans in the form of video games.
These new technologies will be used in advanced and innovative networks such as beIN Sport, Eleven Sport, Canal + Sport, Movistar.
