Moviestar+ Lite: the first figures

Subscribers to the new TV platform Movistar+ Lite launched by Telefonica’s Movistar are watching it an average of two and a half hours a day.
Commenting on its performance, Sergio Oslé, president of Movistar+, said: “The degree of acceptance by users is far exceeding our expectations and the level of consumption is very high, especially for a month like June, which makes us very hopeful for the new season in September”.
Movistar+ Lite’s offer includes original Movistar series and a wide selection of sport.
It costs €8 a month, with the first month free, and can be viewed simultaneously on two devices.
Almost half its consumption is through smart TVs, with the rest shared between smartphones, tablets and PCs.
