The FilmBox Live platform has been made available to 40,000 Netia Player customers in Poland.
Owned by SPI International, the platform gives access to a VOD library
of over 700 movies, sports and fashion programmes and documentary films.
It also allows them to view the live streaming channels Kino Polsaka,
Kino Polska Muzyka, FilmBox, FilmBox Extra, FightBox, DocuBox and
FashionBox.
The FilmBox Live app is already part of the Samsung and LG Smart TV
platforms in Central and Eastern Europe, being present in Poland,
Turkey, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania.
Netia is meanwhile the leading fixed-line alternative telco in Poland
and has a growing presence in the country’s pay-TV industry.
