Cyfrowy Polsat inks Monolith Films deal
Cyfrowy Polsat has entered into an agreement with Monolith Films securing access to its new movies shortly after their premieres in US cinemas.
Thanks to the agreement, the movies will be made available on an on demand basis on its DTH platform and the online service ipla two weeks before their debuts on DVD in Poland.
Ipla’s offer will also be improved thanks to agreements Cyfrowy Polsat has signed with the distributor 9th Plan and Galapagos Films.
Cyfrowy Polsat operates the largest DTH platform in Poland of the same name and it currently has just over 3.5 million subscribers.
Ipla, which is aimed solely in Poland, can be accessed via ipla.tv, Windows and Windows 8 PCs, iOS, Android, Windows Phone smartphones, iOS and Android tablets, a range of smart TVs, PS3, Cyfrowy Polsat and Toya.
