ESPN, ESPN Deportes plans comprehensive Super Bowl coverage

ESPN’s coverage of Super Bowl LIII – the New England Patriots vs the Los Angeles Rams – kicks off Wednesday, 30 Jan, and includes more than 40 hours of live programming from Atlanta.

SportsCenter, NFL Live and more will originate from ESPN’s Super Bowl headquarters at Centennial Olympic Park. ESPN’s Super Bowl programming also features daily editions of Golic and Wingo and First Take from the Atlanta Convention Centre at AmericasMart, and, on Sunday, pre- and post-game shows from Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The actual game will be carried on CBS in the US.

SportsCenter On the Road, First Take, NFL Live, NFL Matchup, Postseason NFL Countdown, NFL PrimeTime and ESPN Radio Shows will all offer a full slate of coverage leading up to and on Super Bowl Sunday.

ESPN’s digital coverage of Super Bowl LIII meanwhile will feature analysis, commentary, breaking news, video and more across and the ESPN App leading up to, during and after the game.

The Undefeated, ESPN’s multiplatform content initiative exploring the intersections of sports, race and culture, will feature extensive coverage of Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta as well; and ESPN Deportes will be the Spanish-language home of Super Bowl LIII, featuring exclusive Spanish-language coverage on ESPN Deportes TV, ESPN Deportes Radio and streaming via the ESPN App.

This is the second Super Bowl telecast for ESPN Deportes, via an agreement with the National Football League and CBS, home of Super Bowl LIII.

Also, ESPN International and its affiliated networks will present Super Bowl LIII live to more than 68 million households in 75 countries and territories throughout Spanish-speaking Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Canada, the Philippines and Sub Saharan Africa. Commentary and analysis is provided in four languages — English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
