HD-Plus_schwarzGermany’s HD+ platform has successfully started the new
financial year with 1,103,701 paying households, representing a doubling
of subscriber numbers over the last year.
The successful conversion of test households into paying customers is providing the platform with an optimistic outlook.
As of March 31, 2013 the number of active HD+ households, both those paying and in a trial period stood at 2,892,163.
Wilfried Urner, CEO, HD+ said: HD+ has made an excellent start to the
year. We targeted an annual growth of 25%, which has not only been met,
but exceeded. Therefore HD+ remains on a clear growth path.
Nearly three and a half years after the November 2009 start HD+ is
offering 15 private free-TV broadcasters. A further 22 can be received
without further charge.
