Portugals SIC buys rights to broadcast World Cup games
Portuguese commercial broadcaster SIC has reached an agreement with public broadcaster RTP to sub-license the broadcast rights to the 2018 World Cup matches. The deal is due to be signed in the coming weeks, reports Jornal de Negocios. SIC will broadcast eight World Cup matches, including one of the Portuguese national team, as well as extended summaries of all matches in this competition. The 2018 World Cup will run from 14 June to 15 July in Russia.
