Italian pay-TV provider Sky Italia reported revenues of 605 million in
its fiscal first quarter to 30 September, up 2 percent from a year
earlier on a constant currency basis, with EBITDA up 8 percent to GBP
107 million, the highest level in five years. The increased revenues
reflected a strong performance in advertising revenue, with the company
posting a record figure for the September quarter, while free-to-air
audiences rose 20 percent year on year. On Demand viewing was also up 27
percent year on year, in part due to the launch of Super HD for popular
shows such as X Factor and Moto GP,
