t-weCanal Digital is upgrading its customer offer in Norway with
improvements in broadband speeds and new entertainment services. The new broadband portfolio consists of speeds running at 25, 50 and 100
Gbps. CEO Gisle Pedersen says the majority of Canal Digital Kabel TV
will receive a significantly higher speed.
Customers will be transferred to the product closest to what they currently receive.
At the same time improvements to the new T-We entertainment portal
includes Startover – commencing a live show from the beginning; a 7-day
backwards EPG and catch-up content.
“Canal Digital Kabel TV delivers broadband services via various fiber
solutions, HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax) and FTTH (Fiber to the Home). We have
in recent years intensified the modernisation of broadband networks by
building fibre closer to the customer, even right up to the wall of the
house, to ensure that customers have the capacity they need,” said
Pedersen.
The T-We service requires the customer to have the recent ADB set-top.
